Volcano project highlights

We have been learning about Physical and chemical changes. We conducted an experiment using baking soda and vinegar to illustrate a chemical change. A chemical change is a change that is nearly impossible to reverse. We used volcanoes as a fun way of showing this chemical reaction. Real volcanoes have similar processes to what we observed, but using many more chemicals.

  6. Hi i´m from south hornby school. This looks really fun I remember one time when I made volcanoes in science week we used clay to use the outside. The decorating part would be my favorite part its the part that i think pretty much lots of people love about making volcanoes we put a little container in the volcano and put vinegar in it then added a bit of baking soda and the chemical reaction made it flow over the sides of the volcanoes. I like doing volcano experiments I and watching them explode. here is my blog please check it out https://shsaylag.blogspot.co.nz/
